Meant For You reminds me of the opening of a church service (especially the organ). A reminder to transcend the here and now by being still (“cease striving” in the original language), trusting-knowing-believing in God, and receiving personalized peace through the Savior.

An invitation to invite the peaceful presence of Christ into your life

As I sit and close my eyes

Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him...  Psalms 37:7

“Be still, and know that I am God...  Psalms 46:10  

Be still before the LORD, all mankind...  Zechariah 2:13

You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.  Psalms 139:2


There's peace in my mind

You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.  Isaiah 26:3

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:7

The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace.  Romans 8:6

...Listen to my appeal, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.  2 Corinthians 13:11


And I'm hoping that you'll find it too

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.  1 Corinthians 1:3  

For he himself is our peace...  Ephesians 2:14  

And these feelings in my heart

It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart...  Philippians 1:7

I know are meant for you

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.  2Thessalonians 3:16
